Edmonton, AB/AB/Canada, AB T5JTrimac Energy Services is seeking a Washrack Technician (Tank Wash) for our Edmonton, AB- TESL shop. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who has shop experience and a passion for safety.
Pay:
- $27.59-$29.89 per hour
- $2.00 shift premium for the overnight shift
- 7 on 7 off, Night position available
- 5:30 pm to 5:30 am
- Exterior washing and assisting with internal cleaning.
- Hose testing/cleaning.
- Pump flush.
- Drive equipment.
- Tank entry and confined space training
- Operation of hand tools.
- Wash work orders.
- Tank steam for cleaning.
- Steam product for repair.
- Assist in wash order scheduling.
- Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
- Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations.
- Comfortable working either indoors or outdoors (Appropriate gear is provided).
- Positive and strong work ethic.
- Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
- Positive attitude and job performance.
- Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
- Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
- Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Full-time, year-round work.
