The Opportunity

We're looking for a Screen Printer, working in the Manufacturing industry in Carol Stream, Illinois, United States.

Our Client has immediate openings for an experienced Screen Printer at our manufacturing facility conveniently located in Carol Stream, IL. Our current openings are on the 1st shift, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance.

We offer medical, dental, vision, and 401 (k) benefits as well as earned PTO. Salary is up to $18.00 per hour based on qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learning the screen-printing job.
  
• Running jobs, large to small, both in size and number of runs.
• Working closely with Gus, the Printing Manager, to learn the job, it is a slow process to learn and perfect.
• Learning how to read the paperwork for the job, and also using the computer.
• Making the screens with the printed layout of the picture on it of what will be printed out with each color.
• Putting them into the frames, stretching them, and making sure that they are aligned correctly.
• Assembling the sheets of plastic needed, which will already be cut and brought over by the assistant.
• Assembling the inks that will be needed for the run that will be brought over by the assistant after they have been blended and completed.
• Running the job, color by color once all material is gathered and match each color to the original to make sure there is an exact color match before running the entire run. If not, the color will need to be re-color-matched by the assistant. Once all is run and colors are good, each color is run for the job, color by color the job is run screen by screen until the job is completed.
• Cleaning the screens in between and the space the Printer is working in will need to be kept clean and tidy.
• Other duties as assigned Supervisor

Experience Required for Your Success

Requirements/Required Skill Set:

• Very detailed, good eyesight, ability to tell colors apart and color match.
• Quick learner.
• Lifting to 35 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around machines to tighten up the screens onto the machines with the screens.
• A lot of bending, twisting, lifting, and moving around the machines.
• Drug Test County Background check
• Must be trainable and continue to learn daily.
• Strong work ethic, good work habits
