We are looking for a Manufacturing Mechanic to join our Finishing Division in Rochester, NY.  This Manufacturing Mechanic position will work both independently and with other members of our maintenance and engineering teams to provide various types of support for equipment in our Finishing department’s manufacturing areas.   

Description of Job: 
• The Manufacturing Mechanic position will utilize their mechanical and electrical skills to help maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and provide necessary support for production equipment as needed 
• Work with other members of the Finishing team to resolve equipment issues 
• Perform alignment and adjustments as needed on production equipment 
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on a wide variety of Finishing equipment  
• Utilize hand tools as well as maintenance shop equipment to perform tasks as needed 

Required Skills/Experience: 
• Highly involved and motivated with good Mechanical skills and some experience troubleshooting electrical issues
• Ability to change focus based on priorities  
• Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience 
• Able to read and interpret mechanical/machine drawings
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision 
• Must have ability to work individually and with a team as needed 
• Good team player – willing to be flexible and work with maintenance trades as needed 
• Excellent safety record – places safety and environment as top priority in all work
• Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out process 
• Must be able to work in dark-room conditions if needed  
• Good communication skills for daily communications with maintenance and operations staff 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools 
• Ability to work a rotational shift schedule if necessary
