Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must be flexible to work overtime when needed)
Employment Type: Temp to Perm (after 520 hours or 90 days)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. This position will be based at a warehouse off Fulton Industrial Blvd in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, with overtime required as needed. After 520 hours or 90 days, the position will transition from temporary to permanent status.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that products are handled with care.
• Ensure that the correct products are delivered to the appropriate areas within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the proper storage of materials.
• Perform regular checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while operating the forklift.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking and documenting materials.
• Be prepared to work overtime or on weekends, based on business needs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Must have a valid forklift certification (or be willing to obtain one).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
