
Experience:
2 years minimum experience in supporting a complex desk environment with both administration and problem resolution of Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7 and above issues. In depth understanding desktop antivirus and disk encryption software as well as knowledge of end user interactions with Active Directory concepts, integrations, and basic administration in a Windows environment. Demonstrated working knowledge of Group Policy Objects and Microsoft Office Software. Demonstrated experience with support of associated peripherals. Experience in troubleshooting protocols like HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SMB, DNS, and DHCP, TCI/IP in an enterprise environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related work experience
Skills:
Ability to plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures.
Must be able to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust, and credibility.
Willing and competent in performing multiple tasks concurrently and responding to emergency situations effectively.
