Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MPCU 4 West

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Call Requirements: No standing “on call” requirement. Rarely may be placed on call or floated if low patient volume.

Requirements:

• IN License
• 2 Years Experience
• Tracheostomy experience
• IV Medicated gtts, Ventilator, bipap, cpcp, high flow oxygen delivery devices,  Unit performs their own phlebotomy and IV sticks
• BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS cert recommended preferred
• ICU/Critical Care experience recommended preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC documentation system
• Float Requirements: Must be willing to float within hospital and/or up to 25 miles from facility.
• Number of Beds: 37 beds including a 10 bed section for acuity adaptable patients including chronic trach/ventilator care, dialysis, other elevated acuity patients
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 RN patient ratio based on acuity. May have on assignment for 1:2 (for ICU level patients) or may have an assignment of 1:4 if patient acuity is low.
• Equipment: Ventilators, bipap, cpap, high-glow and salter canula O2 delivery devices. All patients are on wall mounted Phillips cardiac monitors. End tidal CO2 monitors may be used for specific patient requirements. Alaris IV pumps, vocera communication devices are used. Vitual sitter and marti language devices are utilized.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
