Silver Line Windows & Doors in Lithia Springs, GA is the #1 manufacture of vinyl windows and doors. We were recently acquired by Ply Gem and NCI Building Systems, now called Cornerstone Building Brands, which positions us as the largest integrated manufacturer of metal building products for the commercial & residential market. Also, we have over 22,000 employees across 80 manufacturing, distribution and office locations in North America.

Responsibilities

• Learn, and support 5S, etc.
• Follow and execute Supervisors direction on decisions related to operations and personnel
• Lead and support development of disciplined and high performing work teams
• Lead and assist Associates when needed
• Assist supervisor in day-to-day activities to efficiently manage department(s)
• Work with other departments to keep service failures at a minimum
• Communicate daily status and expectations to associates via “Stand Up” Meetings.
• Maintain safe work area ensure all accidents and near misses are reported immediately
• Perform daily load quality and safety audits
• Maintain line of communication between shifts

Qualifications

• 2 years proven warehouse lead/supervisory experience and ability to effectively manage .
• Demonstrate ability to work and motivate Associates.
• Ability to effectively recommend performance improvement plans where necessary.
• Ability to communicate department goals, objectives and processes with employees.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement (demonstrates initiative and follows trough).
• Ability to communicate effectively English (bilingual preferred) at all levels within the organization and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, possessing an exceptional sense of urgency.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Ability to manage warehouse staff and directly with all shifts by dividing/balancing time across multiple shifts and having flexibility to work off-shift hours, including nights and/or weekends.
