SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION\: Protects the organization's employees, properties and all items of value on premises from any preventable harm or danger. Develops security policies and procedures that comply with government guidelines and standards. Conducts investigations to protect organization assets. Responds to contingency events, including bomb threats, sabotage and severe weather conditions through on-site security force or with the assistance of government law enforcement agencies. Recommends hiring of outside security contractors as necessary and may oversee contract guard force.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
·Background checks
Uses preferred system to retrieve data for completions of background checks. Enters/Maintains data into the Fingerprint Data base on completions.

Processes office supply orders for the division. Responsible for processing annual service agreements with Purchasing and Accounting.

Manages weekly payroll for contract employees. Serves as the liaison between Accounts Payable and contract employees when payroll issues arise.

Maintains documentation and follow up of the following-Fire Drill Program, Monthly Fire Extinguisher, Monthly Panic Alarms, Stairwell/Elevator Phones, Chex-it doors, Garage Help, Entry/Exit Phone, Emergency Lights, Fire/Smoke Doors, Environmental Rounds and Area of Refuge Phones for all CCHMC owned locations.

Uses drug auditing software to monitor monthly drug order auditing. Works with Pharmacy Rep to compile data regarding potential drug diversion. Maintains database for Protective Services benchmarking projects with other hospitals.

Qualification: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required\:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred\:
· 2 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
