Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to: Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies. Educational Requirements:
- BSN or AND degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Certification and Licensure Requirements:
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
Sign On Incentives: $10,000/Associate RNs and $15,000/Bachelor RNs for all eligible Experienced and New Grad RN with work commit.
